Eighth-Graders Complete Wheel of Theodorus Projects
To culminate their unit on right triangles, eighth-graders in Beth Anderson's algebra classes created their own Wheels of Theodorus, spirals composed of contiguous right triangles. In this video, students explain the connections between irrational numbers and the right triangles and how they used the Pythagorean theorem to create the spirals.
